Former Vice President/Acting President of the Norwegian Women’s Lobby
Bjørg Ofstad was Vice President and Acting President of the Norwegian Women’s Lobby during the term 2019–2020, and served on the board from 2017. She has been a member of the local Oslo board and of the national board of the Norwegian Association for Women’s Rights. She has worked in the Research Council of Norway with research in the social sciences, including research on women and gender research and research on social security. She has worked with woman oriented assistance at the Norwegian Embassy of Dar es Salaam. She was a member of the woman majority of the City Council of Oslo 1972–76.
